Will the event be child-friendly?

As much as a pizza and dance party can be! We welcome any and all children of guests to join us - our only ask is that you RSVP for each age group so we know how many seats you’ll need. Your kids may also enjoy joining for our morning adventures at Ijams Nature Center, because who doesn’t like to swim and run around in the woods?

Do I have a plus one?

Invitations were addressed to all invited and your envelope will include your partner's name or "and guest" if we have room for a plus one. We’re filling the Barley’s upstairs to capacity, so we appreciate your understanding!

What should we wear?

Who doesn’t love an excuse to get dressed up? We’d recommend a semi-formal outfit for the party. (But we’ll be at a pizza place, so feel free to opt for comfort and creativity over formality.).

But what does “semi-formal” mean??

For the gentlemen - collared shirt and pants, add a tie and/or coat to your taste, or a suit and tie. For the ladies - think cocktail dress or “dressy separates.” We’ll be wearing a suit and a homemade wedding dress!

Is there a registry?

The best gift we could ask for is to have you celebrating with us. We know a lot of you are traveling from far away, and are so grateful that you would spend the time and money to come. No further gift necessary! 

We’re lucky to have everything we need and more, but if you really feel strongly about giving something additional, here are a few ideas:

• Come to visit us, or host us in your town

• Let us know if there’s something you’d like to help with over the celebration weekend (setup, cleanup, pictures, rock climbing gear/expertise, or whatever special skill you’d like to contribute)

• Give to/volunteer with your favorite charity in our honor

What time is the reception, again?

Doors open to Barley’s at 5:30 pm, and we’ll have a full house by 6:00. If you’re in doubt, show up at 5:30 so you’ve got more time to mingle, eat, and drink!

How do I get there?
